​Claiming land will prevent other players on it from killing you, opening doors and chests, lighting fires, placing or destroying blocks, etc.

Each player may claim up to 6 rectangles of land. Claims always extend from the bedrock to the sky height limit. A claim's largest dimension and total area are measured in a counter-intuitive way by the game, but the per-player limits are set to be quite large. It is not possible to make claims in the End; it is possible in the Nether since the 1.16 updated. Claims are deleted after 6 months without logging on.

How to claim

​

Once you have decided on a location for your build, select a rectangle by left-clicking one corner and right-clicking the opposite corner while holding a stick. Click either corner again to move it.

Once a region is selected, claim it by typing "/rp claim" in chat. By default, its name will be "[your username]_0" for the first region, "[your username]_1" for the second and so on. The claim you're standing in can be renamed using "/rp rename [new name]".

Its border may be shown at any time by typing "/rp border" while in it. A claim can be resized by deleting and re-creating it, which will NOT increase the claims count. All of a player's claims can be listed by typing "/rp list". Any claim can be removed by its owner by typing "/rp delete [claim name]". Of course, this decreases the number of claims registered towards the limit.

You may create a faction base by adding trusted players to your claim with "/rp addmember" and remove them with "/rp removemember".

How to teleport

​

Typing "/spawn" in chat will teleport you to spawn. One may ask to teleport to another player with "/tpa [player name]" and accept a teleport request with "/tpaccept". Up to 5 teleport points can be set by typing "/sethome [name]" while standing in the desired location. Teleporting to one of them is with "/home [name]", and any can be deleted with "/delhome [name]".
